USA: New Jersey residents took an ice-cream man to court to make him change his van's repetitive chimes. The ice-cream man won the case, but admitted he too was sick of the chimes, so bought some other music to play.

USA: The Californian Highway Patrol finally caught up with Jason Bendel after a nine-mile chase. He was later fined $500 and banned from driving for a year - on his 93rd birthday.

CANADA: Montreal schools have bought 12 cardboard cut-outs of cops holding radar guns in an attempt to stop speeding drivers.

NETHERLANDS: A duck caused chaos by trying to cross a road in Amsterdam. One car, which swerved to avoid it, was rammed by a following vehicle, then a motorbike hit the wreckage.
